Internal Lining for Heat Exchanger

Heat exchangers transfer heat between two or more fluids and are widely used in power plants, chemical plants, petrochemical facilities, and oil refineries. The use of dissimilar metals in their design can lead to galvanic corrosion, which is mitigated by applying appropriate coatings or linings. 

Internal Coating at Omega Pump

Damage occurred to the Omega pump due to corrosion, erosion, and abrasion caused by the flow of fluid, leading to a loss of metal thickness in the equipment. Therefore, protection with abrasion-resistant materials is required. PT Indo Riau employs ceramic coating, which is highly resistant to both abrasion and erosion. Surface preparation is conducted in accordance with SSPC SP-10 standards, utilizing dry abrasive blasting to ensure optimal coating adhesion.
